Read these pages before you contact your Foster Coordinator. You may find your question already answered.
As a foster home you have committed to helping TCR foster cats. This includes caring for your foster cat and teaching them boundaries and behaviours that will make them adoptable. You need to help market your foster cat by taking clear photographs, writing compelling descriptions, and keeping them visible to potential adopters. You will also need to speak with potential adopters about your foster cat.
You will be assigned a Foster Coordinator to help you on this journey with your cats. If you can't find the information you need in Meowapedia, they are your next step.
All TCR cats are indoor cats. You may not use a Catio, walk them outside on a lead, or take them to another location (aside from a TCR scheduled vet visit).
Join the Toronto Cat Rescue Foster Homes Facebook group (TCR Foster Parents) for peer support. Any issue you are having with your cat has generally been had before. You may need advice, or just reassurance that you are doing the right thing. Cat photos of your cute fosters always appreciated.
